OUR START

Here at Calvary Paving & Sealcoating, we are a family-owned and operated business, founded by Jimmie Harrison who learned the business from his family of paving contractors. Our owner Jimmie is third generation in the asphalt paving industry. We believe that Jimmie’s lifelong experience and hands-on approach is what sets us apart. 

In saying that, we also know that all asphalt work is only as good as its FOUNDATION, and the same is true for our company, that is built on the foundation of our Christian beliefs. 

We hope that those standards show up in not just our words, but also in the integrity of our work. We are not shy about sharing our faith with our customers, if the conversation should arise, but much more than that we desire for who we are, to be seen in more than words but actions. We love to share our faith and the background behind the choice of our name, we see our business as something that God blessed us with, and as a way to encourage the people we meet in our everyday affairs. Of course we are in business to lay asphalt and make a living, but we want our work to reflect the principle of the scripture Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for people.” 

No one can promise perfection at any job, but we strive to do our very best at what we do, and leave our customers with quality asphalt work.

We are located in Fairless Hills, Pa. servicing our own home County of Bucks, but also Schuylkill County, Columbia County, Montour County, North Umberland County, and parts of Luzerne County.

Calvary Paving and Sealcoating has grown under the supervision of Jimmie Harrison where we have become a full service asphalt paving company, that begins with site preparation to final sealcoat, covering a wide range of customers needs from repairs to full installations, specializing in Residential AND Commercial projects and holding an outstanding reputation in the paving industry.

There are many things to consider when deciding on which asphalt paving contractor to use and what services to choose from. Whether the job is new construction or maintenance, when you choose Calvary Paving & Sealcoating every job is tailored to suit your specific needs and is guaranteed. 

Too often preventative maintenance for asphalt paving is forgotten or ignored; consequently causing deterioration which could lead to a costly mistake. A properly constructed asphalt driveway has the longevity of twenty to thirty years, but must be maintained properly during that period. At Calvary Paving & Sealcoating we take pride in educating our customers on the proper way to preserve the overall life of the paving job. We also emphasize that no job is given a cookie cutter process, but must be assessed and evaluated to determine the right process for the scope of work. While we do hold standards of thickness and preparation that cover all of our work, we give a custom fit approach for the needs of your particular project and we strive to give our customers full attention to what is the best approach for their property. Some projects may have a couple options to consider between repairing vs a full repave, and on those jobs, we hope to leave the customer with our suggestion and enough information to weigh out their decision on what’s best for them. Other projects are more clearly determined as a repair or a full repave, and we aim to complete all of our work with a quality finished product that will last.
